NEWS

DCVG Ltd. Designs, develops and manufactures all its own equipment. This ensures that we have total control of the product in ensuring its finished quality and reliability. Everything is manufactured to strict military standards and specifications, and a complete set of equipment includes everything that will be necessary to conduct a successful DCVG pipeline coating survey, or CIPS potential survey.

This equipment is a direct descendant of
the original work conducted in Australia by John Mulvany & Dr John Leeds.

A complete DCVG set of equipment is protectively packed into light weight indestructible water proof carry cases, and has two principle components; the Interrupter and the Survey meter. The complete CIPS set, satellite synchronised Interrupters and Quantum Data Logger. During manufacture particular emphasis is placed on the quality, robustness and durability of the construction, with
the equipment kept as simple, practical and flexible as possible. A full complete instruction manual does come with each set of equipment. However, there is no substitute for good comprehensive training.

The Training Courses are very intensive and condensed into 5 days for each level.

There are 4 levels, each one concluding with a controlled exam, which must be passed to gain a formal globally recognised certificate of accreditation at the level, and prior to progressing onto the next level, if required.

The Level 1 Course includes theoretical and practical work both in the classroom and out in the field, and covers both DCVG & CIPS. You will learn how to gather data, and to use and interpret the results, in order to gain maximum benefit from the technology transfer process.

The course is tutored by Dr Leeds personally, who also has more than 25 years operation experience in DCVG and CIPS technology.

The course can be conducted in either the UK or at your premises, and wil be discussed in a lot more detail on application, with dates established to suit the individual clients. We recommend that the class size should not exceed 10 persons to ensure the maximum transference of knowledge and personal tuition.

We also write all our own software for both the DCVG pipeline coating integrity survey as well as the CIPS method. We have also written and used to extensively an ECDA Program, which we believe is unique and meets all the latest NACE and DTO/OPS requirements. Our powerful and user friendly ECDA program is designed to store and analyse large volumes of pipeline integrity information and survey data.
